Halima Christy, MA, NTS, Executive Producer of "Sage Health On Call"

Halima is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, and the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics. A holistic body/mind therapist for many years, Halima also facilitated support groups for children and adults with serious and catastrophic illness at Dr Gerald Jampolsky's Center for Attitudinal Healing in Tiburon, CA, and, at the Life Center in Santa Fe. Halima is the founding director of KidsReach, a Drug abuse prevention program forchildren ages 5-12; She also founded The Sage Health--On Call Group in Albuquerque - Our integrative health literacy media program.

Dr. John Claussen, Doctor of Chiropractic - Bear Canyon Health Circle
Bachelor’s degree - Colorado University in Biology and Chemistry
Doctor of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Chiropractic. Dr. Claussen practices gentle and traditional forms of chiropractic. He analyzes the
relationship between the skeletal, nerve and muscular systems and then gives adjustments based upon both findings and health history. The intent of his methods is to free the body from interference so it can function at its highest,

He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the UNM School of Medicine
Interest include studying the social influences of Medicine, and Community
Organizing. He is a Board Member of the Endorphin Power Company.

Dr. Bob Dubin; Doctor of Chiropractic, Placitas, NM
Dr. ‘Bob’ has been practicing Chiropractic for over 30 years. Over that time, he has been very active in the Chiropractic Association growth anddevelopment. He spent over 11 years on radio in the San Francisco BayArea, as a talk show host, interviewer and disc jockey, promoting Chiropractic and Alternative Health Care. Dr. Bob brings a sense of humor and a wealth of information to the airwaves, making sure everyone has a good time and a true learning experience.

Robin Seydel has worked in Food Coops from Vermont to Arizona with a personal interest in a safe food supply for people, not profit. She has been a 20 year member of the Albuquerque Montanita Coop and is proud of its track record in, and spearheading the push for, "Living Wages" and Benefits for all employees, full and part time. She and has researched and written on toxins in the environment including the Mercury/Thimerisol containing Vaccines. She is currently the COOP membership team leader and is on the Board of the New Mexico Organic Consumers Association.

Sage Health On Call - KUNM 89.9 FM

Sage Health On Call (SHOC) has been a monthly call-in talk show on KUNM-FM since May, 2001. For over five years, our purpose has been to provide an interactive forum introducing topics of integrative, environmental and indigenous health disciplines to the widest audiences possible.

SHOC provides bi-weekly informative radio programming promoting health literacy in the field of “Integrative Health Care”. Its mission is to improve knowledge, communication and experience of the collaborations forging between the world’s wisdom traditions and western orthodox medicine, and to provide our communities with clear and accurate information about realistic expectations and the process for accessing integrative healthcare.

Creative partnerships between nature based and conventional medicine practitioners are producing vital and often far less costly healthcare solutions. Sage Health programs present guests who are leaders in their field, speaking about their progress in healthcare. Guests and Topics serve culturally diverse sectors of both urban and rural communities.
